Taylor Swift Wins CMA Entertainer Of The Year

Taylor Swift wins CMA for Entertainer Of The Year.

And a child shall lead them.

Last night Taylor Swift made history becoming the youngest person ever to win the Country Music Association’s entertainer of the year award.

Swift is 19-years-old.

The best part about her victory, the four men she defeated all asked her to open for them.

“Every single person in that category let me open up for them this year,” Swift said. “Thank you all so much. I love you.”

Swift won every CMA for which she was nominated. She broke Kenny Chesney’s run of three straight EOY awards and she also ceased Carrie Underwood’s three consecutive victories as female vocalist of the year.

“I’ll never forget this moment because in this moment everything that I have ever wanted has just happened to me,” Swift said last night.

How’s this for a year: best-selling album, a nearly sold-old concert tour, hosting Saturday Night Live, and winning one of the most highly prestigious awards in country music. And you were excited over getting your GED.

By the way, Kanye West was unavailable for comment.
