Red Eye Shake Up: Bill Schulz Steps In For Greg Gutfeld
Last night on Red Eye, sidekick Bill Schulz hosted the final two segments of Fox News Channel’s preeminent (and only) late-night talk fest.
The show’s usual host, Greg Gutfeld, stepped away to appear on Sean Hannity’s show. Obviously, your show doesn’t have much pull if you’re leaving it to be on another program. By the way, Greg was delightful on Hannity, he was a real breath of fresh air.
Gutfeld’s departure left Schulz to host segments “Mail Time,” and “TV’s Andy Levy’s Post Game Wrap-Up.”
Land of Punt has seen it’s fair share of Red Eye, FNC’s daily 3am ET opinion show, but we’ve never seen Schulz host. We’ve seen Mike Baker fill in for Gutfeld, but never the “disgusting,” “she-male,” “homeless,” canker sore that is Bill Schulz.
Nonetheless, LOP felt Schulz did a yeoman’s job. We also enjoyed his schtick of comparing TV’s Andy Levy to Ellen Degeneres. The look so similar it’s eerie.
Perhaps, in the future, this allows Schulz to fill-in for Gutfeld for an entire hour? That is if it hasn’t happen already.
Tonight, on Red Eye, Carrie Prejean, Allison Brie (Mad Men), Lance Reddick (Fringe), Trace Gallagher, and Andrea Tantaros.
